A THRIVING Bury-based wine merchants could be toasting success later this month. R&R Fine Wines, in Hebburn Drive, Brandlesholme, have been short-listed for one of the top awards in the drinks business.
The awards are being organised by The Drinks Business, the UK's drinks trade magazine, to represent excellence in business and commercial practice.
The awards will be presented later this month at the London International Wine and Spirits Fair. R&R Fine Wines and their marketing associate company, Judy Kendrick Marketing, submitted their 2003 marketing campaign for the category The Drinks Business Retail Award 2004.
Ian Richards, managing director of R&R Fine Wines, commented: "This is the first year that these awards have been held and it is very exciting to have been short-listed for such a prestigious award."
