BUDDING Ricky Hattons and Audley Harrisons were on show when Bury Amateur Boxing Club held another of their popular Boxing Evening's at Radcliffe Civic Hall at the weekend.
Among the guests on the night were Mayor of Bury, Coun Wilf Davison and Manchester-based WBU world super-featherweight champion Michael Gomez.
Once again the night was a resounding success and a video of Bury ABC member Amir Khan's successful qualification for the Athens Olympics was shown before the action.

Connor Tate (Bury ABC) lost to Kieran Maher (Mottram & Hattersley ABC) on points.
Thomas Price (Bury ABC) lost to Lewis Reccy (Small Heath ABC) on points.
JUNIORS
Dale Rogers (Bury ABC) defeated S. Nolan (Bredbury & Stockport ABC) on points.
Chris Poole (Bury ABC) lost to P. Mullen (Bridgefoot ABC) on points.
MIDDLEWEIGHT
Justin Farrell (Bury ABC) defeated L. Brewster (Ashton & Albion ABC).
