A £2 MILLION-plus scheme to renovate a tower block in Blackburn got under way.
Bowland House, at Larkhill, Blackburn, was the third block in the area to receive a seven-figure facelift, following Pendle House and Ribble House.
And profits had jumped again at Scapa Group, Lancashire's biggest public limited company. The Blackburn based group saw pre-tax profits rise by 3.2 per cent to £48.5 million.
