BURY Council is to host a major environment fair in September to show its commitment to improving everyone's surroundings.
Community groups and businesses will join the authority to highlight the work being done to cut damaging emissions and tackle other "green" challenges.
Measures already taken in Bury range from air quality testing, sustainable energy projects and grants to recyling schemes and vehicles powered by alternative fuel.
Also in September, Bury will take part in European Car Free Day.
