TWO employees at a Burnley printers have completed 25 years' of service.
Tony Entwistle, 46, and Andy Wilkinson, 40, who work as a lithographic printer and print finishing manager at Peter Scott Printers, received a cheque and champagne to celebrate at a presentation buffet. The pair have seen major technological advances in the last 25 years, as printing has moved from traditional letterpress to the advanced four and five colour machines of today.
Tony said: "Technological changes have revolutionised the way print is produced and I've enjoyed being on board as the company has developed. It's a great place to work and a good bunch of people."
Andy said: "This is my first job and will probably be my last.
"I'm looking forward to the next 25 years."
Malcolm Couch, works manager at Peter Scott Printers, based in Belshaw Court, Billington Road, Burnley, said: "We are delighted to celebrate with Tony and Andy.
"It shows the dedication we have in our colleagues."
