FUNDRAISERS at Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle are inviting people to the Tesco store in Burnley this Sunday to wave the famous Hospice Mini off on its Mini Adventure.

Martin Vernon, who works at Barden Mill, and Martin Crewe, who works at Kitchens Garage, will be driving the magic Mini around the coastline of mainland UK to raise funds for Pendleside Hospice.

The two-week trip will comprise 14 legs, which have all been sponsored by local companies including Tesco, Pierce Accountants, Farnworth Solicitors, Fence Gate Inn, Harvey Environmental Services, Lanway plc, Rourkes Forge, Nayler the Printer, Mini Sport Ltd, Funfair Hire, Cassons Accountants, Bar Pharoah, Skipton Building Society, Althams Travel and Brunlea Travel.

Pendleside Hospice, East Lancashire Hospice and Rossendale Hospice are jointly raffling the Mini Cooper to raise much needed funds.

The lucky winner of the raffle, drawn on August 28, will receive a brand new Mini Cooper in the colour of their choice. The car will be at the store on Centenary Way, Burnley, at 10am.
