CELEBRATIONS are being held this weekend to mark the opening 30 years ago of Kingsleigh Methodist Church building.
On Saturday June 12, there will be a family walk around Pennington Flash, (meet in the car park at 1.30pm), followed by a picnic tea. The following day, the Rev. George Palmer will conduct an anniversary service at 10.30am, followed by a meal at the Travellers Rest.
The church is currently staging an exhibition of photographs of events over the last 30 years. More information from 01942 606747.
