NO-ONE really wants to plan their own funeral, inevitable though one is for all of us.
A former Leigh detective was this week telling me about the passing of an ex-colleague recently who had done some forward planning and decided to leave in style.
He cheered up the mourners at Howe Bridge crem no end. They were in uproar as he passed into the unknown accompanied by the rallying Gracie Fields number "Wish Me Luck as You Wave Me Goodbye." Imagine having such as great sense of humour.
It made me think what I'd like my final number to be, and I feel perhaps Monty Python's "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" could be a contender. I put in on in the car when I'm a bit fed up.
Any thoughts? What would you like and why? Let me know.
