LAST time little Anna Bate saw her older sister Valerie she was just a freckled faced 13-year-old.
The duo lost touch after their father, Stuart, died in 1994, and Anna, who now lives in Australia, would like to rekindle the relationship.
She has written from her Queensland home asking me if I can help. I will do my best.
Anna, now a mum of two little girls, and getting married at the end of the year, said at the time Valerie was living in Leigh with her two daughters, Katherine and Michelle, and her last known surname was Dance.
She said: "I am hoping that she is still living in the area and that someone who knows her may see this appeal and let her know how much she is loved from way over here in Australia."
Wouldn't it be great if we could reunite two long-lost sisters living at opposite ends of the world? e-mail me at lesley.richards@lancashire.newsquest.co.uk if you can help
