I'D like to thank all those who fought for my freedom, those who perished and those who survived, and those who kept the home fires burning!
I promise I won't forget your courage and generosity.
To the younger generations, how many of us so-called British citizens have the generosity and courage to risk our lives for the preservation of the British culture, for the benefit of future generations?
Let's preserve our way of life! Don't be afraid to express your opinions, let's keep the Christian culture which has led this country to prosper, a culture that provides for it's sick, and it's poor, and where all people are equal, male or female, rich or poor!
And let the young remember life isn't all about partying.
Many of those who lost their lives were just teenagers who valued much more important things.
Respect to all those who fight for freedom, then and now.
DEBBIE GUDGEON, Shear Brow, Blackburn.
