I WOULD like to publicly thank all the "girls" from "Team Bury" who took part in the 5km "Race for Life" in Heaton Park.
It was a privilege as a mere man to be able to support more than 100 female employees from Bury MBC who gave their time and effort to support this magnificent cause. They certainly cut a fine dash in their bright yellow "Team Bury" T-shirts and did themselves, and Bury, proud. And, more importantly, they raised much-needed funds for this most deserving charity.
Well done and thank-you to all who took part.
