I DECIDED to go shopping in Accrington and what a pleasure it was. There is plenty of free parking, no buses causing havoc, a good market and the shopping area does not, like Blackburn, have a lot of empty shops and stalls.
But what impressed me most was they have made the precinct a no-smoking zone.
