ACCRINGTON pensioner Eileen Tipling spent a week waiting on number 58 before becoming our second Big Bucks Bingo winner -- and scooping £1,000.

All week Mrs Tipling had been telling her daughter, Lynne Wright, that she needed one number for a full house -- and couldn't believe her luck when it came up on Saturday.

She said: "I thought I would just win a share of the money so was gobsmacked when I realised I had won £1,000.

"I won £56 on the lottery recently and now this. They say that luck comes in threes so I am going to keep playing."

Mrs Tipling, 79, is plans to bank the money for a big party to celebrate her 80th birthday in February.

She has enjoyed playing the game, run in association with Gala Bingo in Blackburn and Burnley, so much that she is going to become a regular bingo player.

Daughter Lynne said: "When she knew how much she had won she was grinning from ear to ear and said she was going to buy a new ."

Big Bucks Bingo is running every night for another six weeks in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph. Game three is running this week and game four starts on Monday.
