GORSEFIELD Primary school's football teams are celebrating a double victory.
The Scholes Cup is awarded each year to the winners of a tournament contested by primary schools in Radcliffe.
The boys' team of Year Five and Six pupils from the Robertson Street school, battled it out in the final against St Mary's Primary School, winning 3-1.
Meanwhile, the girls' team emerged triumphant by winning the Bury Junior Schools Sports League. Year Six teacher and team coach, Andy Bostock, said: "The school is really proud of both teams. The members all did really well."
