I write concerning the Heera Now article in last months Asian Image. The Asian community is feeling the brunt of events that take place on the other side of the world. Everytime a bomb goes off we are all painted with the same brush. I am not a Muslim but I do sense the racist undertones to some comments and programmes on the TV.
It is our job to educate the host community on religious and cultural issues.
