A community came to a standstill to pay their final respects to a student who died after falling 150ft from a cliff during a college trip.
Relatives and friends from all the UK joined Asif Bharucha's parents for formal and informal events in homes and at Bicknell Street Masjid, Blackburn.
Thousands then attended an emotional Janazah (funeral) at Pleasington Cemetary where Asif was laid to rest.
Staff from Blackburn College, where the 17-year-old studied business and tourism, were among those who joined his father Altaf, 42, mother Nayma, 38, sister Nazneen, ten, and eight-year-old brother Ibrahim.
The former Beardwood High School who would have turned 18 on July 1 was a much loved and well liked teenager within the community. He was also an active member of Youth and Community group.
