VIEWERS in East Lancashire were facing a weekend without ITV as the electrician's dispute entered its fourth week. All depended on the result of a meeting held on the day by electricians' union EEPTU. Thames TV was also off air so some programmes due to be screened in East Lancashire had been disrupted and audiences were left looking at blank TV screens.
