I READ with interest your report (LET, November 29) that the council plan to introduce a 30mph speed limit on Meins Road, Blackburn.
I wonder if they are aware that a 30mph limit already exists.
Perhaps the council officials would have found better use of their time in considering ways to protect the residents from the dozens of coaches and cars which regularly cause congestion twice a day during school term.
