I WOULD like to express my very deepest sympathy to the parents of Natalie Pickwick Jones. I cannot say how sorry I feel for them or imagine the hurt they must be going through. Justice was not done.
I am a resident of Bolton Road in Radcliffe, near to where Natalie died. It is a race track even now with the new road safety measures imposed. Drivers are still not deterred from speeding.
I witnessed three cars speed past me the other night at 7pm. I would put their speed at 50 to 70mph. This is unacceptable in a built-up area.
This road is just waiting to claim a few more innocent lives. My heart goes out to David, Elaine and family.
