THE driver of a Porsche 911 lost control of his sports car and crashed into railings in Angouleme Way, Bury, during the Wednesday 8th night rush-hour.
Traffic was brought to a standstill as a result of the accident at 4.45pm and left the driver, who lives in Heywood, with minor head and neck injuries. Paramedics placed the driver on a spinal board and he was taken to Fairfield General Hospital for treatment.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred when the Porsche skidded and spun out of control.
