A PRESTWICH couple fell victim to carjackers on Wednesday night.
The man and his wife were returning to their home in Bland Road at 9.45pm after visiting relatives when they discovered their driveway had been blocked by a wheelie bin. When they got out of the BMW to move the bin, they were approached by three men.
Two of the offenders targeted the man, threatening him with baseball bats, while the third thug threatened the woman with a red cylindrical item which was claimed to contain CS gas.
The offenders demanded the man hand over the keys to his blue BMW 320CD VRM. He initially refused, but when the men threatened his wife again with the cannister he handed over his keys. The three offenders then drove away in the car.
