VICTORY for Sedgley Park Saturday may well depend on which of the opposition's two teams turns up.

Will it be Birmingham-Solihull, or will it be the Pertemps Bees?

Will it be the team that won its first six league games to go top of the table, or will it be the team that has lost its last four to slip down to a mid-table position?

"Whether it is Birmingham-Solihull or Pertemps Bees, they have problems which we have to take advantage of," said Tigers' player-coach Tim Fourie.

"As far as the league goes they are under a lot of pressure to start winning again.

"Confidence may be a problem for them, whereas despite our results we have always gone into every game believing we can win, now we believe that more than ever.

"The added incentive for us is that if we can beat Birmingham it sets us up well for the following game against our Lancashire rivals Orrell."

And, Fourie believes the Brummies are there for the taking.

"They may be distracted by the fact they are through to the sixth round of the Powergen Cup, but I doubt it," he said.

"However I am sure of one thing - they have to start turning things around in the league, so there is plenty of pressure on them, it just depends how they handle it.

"We have to capitalise on their poor run of form without taking them lightly, which isn't quite as easy as it sounds.

"But we are definitely looking forward to it and we will go into it in confident mood.

"We know one or two of their guys.

"I played against the Knight brothers and Nathan Carter when I played for Lancashire against Gloucestershire.

"Then there's Fakatou, Walsh and Woof, who I know from when we all played for Leeds Tykes.

"They tend to feed Woof who then drives the ball in from midfield, while in the forwards they like to play catch and drive.

"Jimmy Ponton also knows those ex-Leeds guys and how to put them under pressure, so we have an idea how to beat them."

As for last weekend's Coventry win, Fourie had mixed feelings.

"We fancied ourselves to win even though we made it harder than we needed to," he said.

"Our lineouts were a shambles and we made one or two stupid mistakes and mistackles, but our grit, determination and defence saw us through, and four points are four points.

"This week in training we have worked on our lineouts in particular, and we are slowly but surely getting it right.

"If we all turn up, stick to the game plan, apply ourselves and prepare for a tough game we will win.

"Just because they are struggling it doesn't mean they are going to give the points to us."

Saturday the Bees may welcome back influential number eight Jim Jenner from injury. The former Newcastle and Worcester forward is recovering from a neck injury, and in his absence the Bees have not won a league game.

The only change for the Tigers sees Chris Glynn alternated on the bench for Ross Bullough.
