PADIHAM go into Monday's top of the table battle with Silsden boosted by the signing of Liam Denning from Ramsbottom United.
"It's a good signing for us because, with him being able to play in midfield and up front, it opens up one or two avenues for us," Padiham manager Steve Wilkes said.
"I tried to sign him in the summer from Great Harwood but he chose to go to Ramsbottom.
"He's done well there and played about 16 games, but he hasn't been getting into the side recently and wanted to move on."
On Monday's game, Wilkes added: "It's one we can't afford to lose, and a draw's no good to us either. We've got to win."
