THE Black Pudding Hashers, a team of runners from Rossendale, held a fancy dress race yesterday in aid of the Asian Tsunami Disaster Appeal.
The run started at The Jolly Sailor, Waterfoot, and followed a two-mile trail of flour, stopping at four pubs along the way.
"Hashing" originated in Malaysia and involves runners following a trail of flour with some avenues of the trail coming to dead ends. The Black Pudding Hashers run together once a month.
Organiser Chris Honey said: "Last July I went to inter-hash, an event for clubs across the world, and ran with the Sri Lankan, Mayalsian, Thai, Indian and Indonesian teams. There will be hashers affected by this disaster."
