ATHERTON COLLS 2 BACUP 4: Colls managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory after a super first half show combined with a shocking second half display.
Colls stormed into a two goal lead thanks to well taken goals from Adam Lucas and Barry Massey.
However, Bacup came out for the second period revitalised and goals from Carl Stanley, David Gray, Steve Scott and Darren Emmett left Colls defeated.
l Colls will play their re-arranged Marsden Lancashire Trophy game with Bamber Bridge on Monday night.
The tie, at Alder Street, kicks-off at 7.45pm.
