ASDA supermarket in Bury is literally coining it in for charity.
Staff and customers have been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from Bury Hospice acknowledging their fundraising efforts.
Recently the store raised £383 through customers donating their change into a bottle. And ex-colleague Beryl O'Brien, who is also a volunteer for Bury Hospice, boosted the takings by a further £190 when donating her commission as a Red Rose Lottery Agent.
Mrs OBrien said: "A total of £573 was donated. Asda Springside, through their staff and customers, have done really well in raising this money. They were given a certificate of appreciation as a way of saying thank you."
