THE kindness and friendliness of Blackburn people was praised by rival football supporters.
Swansea Town FC fans, who visited Blackburn in the third round of the FA cup, were so taken with the attitude of fans they wrote a letter to the newspaper.
Supporter Margaret Croad, of Swansea, said in the letter: "Their kindness, sincere good wishes and the sporting way in which they accepted their defeat must have taken great courage."
