I AM writing in praise of Yvonne Hossack, who is the Independent candidate in Bury South.
Yvonne represented my profoundly handicapped son last year when our county council cut back on respite care at our local respite unit. Without the help of Yvonne the consequences for my son would have been devastating, and I am just so thankful for all her support.
Yvonne truly empathises with everybody, and especially the most vulnerable members of our society who are unable in many cases to fight for their basic rights. She became a voice for my son, for which we are eternally grateful.
Yvonne is a genuinely caring person and, from my personal experience, I know that she works ceaselessly to ensure that everybody gets what they are entitled to.
