FUNDRAISING events by the Radcliffe and Whitefield Lions have raised £1,600 for local charities.
Cheques were handed out to a number of groups, from collections made at Asda and from hamper and Easter egg raffles in local pubs.
The money was presented by the Lions to the charities at the Masons Arms on Sion Street, Radcliffe, earlier this month.
