NOT many General Election candidates have the backing of both a rock band and a former MI5 officer!
Bury South Independent choice Yvonne Hossack has the support of jailed whistleblower David Shayler and the Moody Blues, who have allowed her to use their hit Question during her campaign.
Ms Hossack, a solicitor who fights for old folks homes and Burys Re:d Centre, was at Radcliffe Piazza - she'll be in Prestwich town centre on Saturday (April 23) - singing the words from the chorus: "I'm looking for someone to change my life, I'm looking for a miracle in my life."
Meanwhile, David Shayler will be in Bury next week to support her campaign. "She is a very brave woman who has stood up for some of the most disadvantaged in our society, the people who have been forgotten as Tony Blair and New Labour have departed from the traditions of their party," he said.
Mr Shayler aims to raise awareness of the illegality of the Iraq war.
