ROBBIE Mears is Leigh's second signing of the week, following the on-loan capture of Warrington prop Warren Stevens.
Stevens, 26, is an experienced front rower who made his senior debut for the Wolves in 1997. He spent a brief spell at Salford in 2001 before joining Whitehaven. When Paul Cullen left Cumbria to take up the coaching job at Warrington, Stevens was his first signing.
Stevens has joined Leigh on an initial monthly basis and goes straight into the squad for Friday's game against Salford at The Willows, kick off 8pm.
With no further major injuries reported following last weekend's Hull game, the Centurions are likely to go to Salford with much the same squad but with the addition of Stevens.
