IT was skip, skip, hooray for pupils at Radcliffe Primary School when they took part in a charity fundraiser.
For around 350 children and teachers at the Coronation Road school joined in a skipathon on Friday.
Each class chose a song and had to skip all the way through it.
The challenge was held to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
The sponsor money is still being collected, but the school is hopeful of beating the £2,500 raised at its last skipathon two years ago.
Andrea Coen, school administrator, said: “It was a great event, which promoted the children’s fitness, got their hearts beating and raised money for charity.
“The children all had lots of fun as well. There was a real buzz in the school.”
