ARTIST Chris Yates is giving away his paintings to raise money for charity.
The 55-year-old is showing his new collection at an exhibition in London and giving away 100 limited edition prints.
Mr Yates, of Regents Road, Ramsbottom, is raising money for people affected by the Haiti earthquake and others elsewhere struck by poverty.
He is the founder member of the Bury Stuckist artists who produce what they describe as outspoken and contemporary figurative paintings.
For a minimum donation of £5 towards the Cafod charity or Oxfam’s Haiti appeal, Mr Yates will donate signed prints which would normally cost more than £20 each.
The seven paintings are on display at Brent Artist’s Resource, The Gallery, at Willesden Green, High Road, London.
