AN area of Leigh is set for a £750,000 makeover.
Wigan Council has announced that its latest Renewal Area will be along Plank Lane.
Up to £750,000 will be spent on environmental and house improvements over the next few years.
The work will include resurfacing alleyways, rebuilding walls and replacing doors and windows.
