FILMING for Danny Boyle’s next movie is due to begin in March.
The award-winning director of Slumdog Millionaire is making a film about mountaineer Aron Ralston who was forced to amputate his own arm while he was hiking alone in the US state of Utah.
Danny, from Radcliffe, said production on the movie, 127 Hours, is schedule to take place in Utah and other locations over 42 days in March and April.
Some of the filming will be undertaken in Bluejohn Canyon, where Mr Ralston’s harrowing ordeal took place.
The climber cut off his right arm with a dull knife blade in 2003 after he’d be pinned for several days at the bottom of the remote canyon, near Moab.
