BOLTON South East MP Brian Iddon joined young people at the Houses of Parliament to celebrate the success of a Barnardo’s project urging them to vote.

At a reception, Dr Iddon spoke to the youngsters and heard about issues that are important to them, such as homelessness and street crime. They were given the opportunity to make a pledge to engage with young people.

He said: “I regularly visit schools in my constituency to hold question-and-answer sessions and I am a strong supporter of local organisations who seek to help young people.”

Barnardo’s Do Politix project has also increased young people’s self-esteem, skills, and aspirations.
