A GREAT Harwood firm is being plagued vandals who have attacked it five times.

And now police have released CCTV of a group of teenagers they would like to speak to in connection with the damage to Dewric, St Lawrence Street.

Since Monday, September 28, police recorded five separate incidents of criminal damage at the fabricated metal manufacturer, causing damage totalling £1,000.

However, the cost to the company overall is treble this amount as the inconvenience of the crimes has seen the firm lose out on business, according to police.

The offences, which have all happened between 8pm and 10pm, have seen stones thrown through windows by youths.

Police are appealing to anyone with information on the offence to contact them.

PC Neil Pugh said: “We will not tolerate any acts of mindless vandalism or anti social behaviour in Great Harwood and any offenders will be dealt with robustly. I appeal to anyone who recognises these youths to contact police.”

The teenagers are described as white aged between 14 and 16 years old.

No one was available to comment from Dewric.
