POLICE are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of a boy who been missing for more than three weeks.

Thomas Bank, 14, was last seen on Sunday, October 4, at his address in Bolton-le-Sands, near Carnforth.

Police believe Thomas is in the Darwen area and are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.

Sgt Stephanie Hurst said: “We believe that some people in Darwen know where Thomas is but for one reason or another they are not telling the police.

“It is a criminal offence to knowingly assist a young person to stay away from their home and police will take action against anyone found to be doing this.

“It is for Thomas’s own safety that he is cared for by a responsible adult, so I urge those people who know where he is to contact the police.”

Thomas is described as having short brown hair and brown eyes, and he is of medium build.

Anyone who thinks they may have seen Thomas, or knows where he is, should contact the police on 0845 125 35 45.
