THIS dramatic picture was taken after yobs set fire to a wheelie bin placed on top of a car in the early hours of yesterday.
Firefighters were called to Heathfield Drive in Morris Green at around 1.15am after receiving reports of a car fire.
The blaze destroyed the front end of the Volkswagen Golf and caused smoke damage to the rest of the car.
The picture was taken by a local resident, who also called the emergency services.
Residents have been warned not to leave their bins out overnight.
A spokesman for the fire service said: “This simple action can really help us reduce the number of deliberate fires. People should also take their bins in after they have been emptied.”
