Residents with poor job prospects can find out about a new employment project at a public meeting next week.
A presentation will be given on a new scheme to help local people gain access to training and employment opportunities.
The back-to-work project is top of the agenda when Radcliffe Local Area Partnership meets on Tuesday.
An office called Radcliffe Works is to open later this month in Blackburn Street, providing advice on jobs, skills, changing careers and preparing for interviews.
No firm date has yet been given as it is waiting for formal planning approval.
The project has been designed to address many of the issues identified in the Radcliffe Worklessness Study completed in 2008.
The Local Area Partnership meeting will also hear a new report on domestic violence, following the publication of statistics which have identified serious issues in Radcliffe.
A Bury Council domestic violence worker will discuss the problem.
New funding applications will also be considered, together with updates from the police and fire service.
The meeting will be held at Radcliffe Civic Suite at 6pm. The open forum and public question time is from 7.45pm and 8.30pm.
For further details contact David Thomas, the area partnership manager, on 0161 253 7455.
