A Blackburn College student has appeared in court after pornographic images were found on a pen drive which he lost.
Blackburn magistrates heard that among the images were some involving children and some images of extreme pornography involving adult females performing sex acts on and with horses and dogs.
Jake Davies, 19, of St Vincents Close, Lower Darwen, was directed to be dealt with at Preston Crown Court on a total of 18 charges allegedly committed between April 2005 and September 2008.
He was remanded on bail pending the preparation of committal papers.
