A WOMAN was last night being quizzed by detectives on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed at a home in Bacup.
Ambulance crews were called out police to the property in New Lane at around 10pm on Saturday.
A 49-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Rochdale Infirmary where doctors removed one of his kidneys following the attack.
However, he is expected to make a full recovery.
Last night, detectives at Burnley police station were questioning a 30-year-old woman from the town.
