Occasionally we come across a photo in the archive which is a bit of a mystery.
This picture, probably from the Sixties, has no information to accompany it but it shows a double decker emerging from Church Street in Blackburn.
Presumably the road running from left to right would be Darwen Street, although you might know otherwise.
Among the shops you can see to the left are Stead and Simpson, Kenyon’s, Royce and Etam.
We’re hoping Looking Back readers can help us get our bearings and tell us more about this picture. Does anyone remember the building with the clock?
