Police have seized a car following checks which showed the driver was disqualified and did not have insurance.
The driver of the black Toyota Yaris was stopped on the afternoon of Sunday, October 15 in Brierfield while police were conducting speed checks.
Police have issued a reminder to people saying you must not drive while disqualified and you must have insurance.
A police spokesperson said: “It is not okay to drive whilst disqualified and it is not okay to drive with no insurance.
“This is the story for a young male today in Brierfield. He will soon be explaining to Lancashire Magistrates’ just why he thinks it is okay to drive when ‘banned’ and with no insurance.
“You all know this, but we will continue to target uninsured/disqualified drivers and we will enforce.”
