A rapper who rose to fame in the early 2000s is set to make an appearance at a Burnley nightclub.

Dappy, real name Costadinos Contostavlos, is set to perform at Mode Nightclub on Hammerton Street on Saturday, September 30.

He will perform live on stage for a “very rare and intimate” performance, playing songs old and new.

Dappy came to Proj3kt nightclub in Burnley back in 2021 and the event was reportedly “packed out”.

The musician is best known for being one third of hip hop group, N-Dubz, which rose to fame in the 2000s.

N-Dubz also consisted of his cousin Tulisa Contostavlos and Fazer, real name Richard Rawson

Together they they produced hit songs such as I Need You and Best Behaviour.

Dappy also embarked on a solo career and he reached number one in the UK with his debut solo single, 'No Regrets', which was released on September 18, 2011.

Dappy has also released two mixtapes called D-A-P's to the Y which features artists such as Frisco, Black the Ripper, Chipmunk, Wiley, Cookie G, Double S and Kano.

A spokesperson for Mode said: “Dappy is coming to Mode.

“We can’t quite believe we have pulled this one off but here he is. Dappy is live on stage for a very rare and very intimate performance!
