An East Lancshire brass band will be hosting a 'Last Night at the Proms' this weekend in aid of local charities.
The 2nd Rossendale South Group Brass Band is hosting the event at Padiham Unitarian Chapel, in Church Street, from 7.30pm on Saturday, September 9.
The band, which played at Windsor Castle for Queen Elizabeth II and often play at the Bridgewater, will be hosting a last night at the proms raising money for the North West Air Ambulance, the Children's Heart Surgery Fund, and the Unitarian Chapel.
The concerts have been running for almost two decades, entertaining crowds with a fine performance of brass band music.
Tickets for the show cost £8 including refreshments, and to get tickets or for more information call 01282 773 336, or email barryrbrown@gmail.com.
