A MAN from Tockholes who went on to spearhead the international marketing of Cadbury's has written a book about the chocolate giant's history.

His roles included managing Cadbury's substantial Easter and Christmas portfolios, and he was general manager of the Cadbury World theme attraction.

After a move to Cadbury Canada to become senior vice-president, marketing, he ended a 24-year career with the confectioners by building a new career as a consultant and writer in Toronto.

His book, released last month, is called 'Cadbury's Purple Reign: The Story Behind Chocolate's Best-Loved Brand'.
