FRIENDS of a young man who was found hanging in the back garden of his home have set up an internet tribute site to pay their respects.

The body of 21-year-old Ryan Breslin was found by a neighbour in Dorset Drive, Helmshore, on Sunday.

Emergency services were called to the terraced house at 11.35am but were unable to save Ryan and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Internet tributes from friends have been left on the Bebo social networking site, on a page entitled Ryan Breslin RIP.

They include a message from Ryan's 17-year-old girlfriend Charlotte, which reads: "Can't believe that your gone.

"I will miss you forever and never forget you my one and only!

Loved you from the first day met you and will never stop till i am up there with you!"

The creators of the website, Dicko and Bethanee-X, label Ryan as a 'Haslingden Soldier' and have added: "He Will Be Dearly Missed By Everybody That New Him.

"Ryan Was Kind,Caring And If You Ever Needed A Helping Hand Ryan Would Be There.

"He Was Very Outgoing, Lively And Was The Life And Soul Of The Party !!"

Members of the group are invited to add a special '"R.i.p Ryan Breslin - I'm Sure Gona Miss You' tag onto their home pages.

Ryan leaves behind his mum Helen, younger sister Fern and grandparents Sue, Christine and Roy.

Police are not treating Ryan's death as suspicious.

An inquest was opened and adjourned on Wednesday so that further toxicology tests can be carried out.

A spokesman for the coroner's office said: "Ryan Breslin was pronounced dead at 11.48am on April 6.

"He was found in the rear garden of his home address, hanging by the neck from a rope attached to a tree.

"A post mortem examination carried out gave the cause of death as hanging."
