A MAN attacked his girlfriend after accusing her of sleeping with his brother, Burnley magistrates heard.
The court was told "jealous" Jason Mark McKenzie, 22, threatened to smash her house up and then punched her just under the eye.
The defendant later turned up at her door in the early hours, kicked it and then left in his brother's car.
McKenzie, of Cleveland Street, Colne, admitted assault by beating and damage on February 9.
He was bailed until March 26, for a pre-sentence report and the bench told him they were looking at a medium community penalty.
They said McKenzie could have caused more serious injury.
John Nuttall, defending, said the defendant apologised profusely to her and the court.
He said: "They are back together. The pair of them want to put this incident behind them. He has already paid for the damage to the door."
