A WOMAN was attacked with a knife during a robbery in Pendle which police believe is linked to two other incidents.
In the first attack the 38-year-old woman sustained a cut to her neck and nose around 5.15pm on February 21 on Ivegate, in Colne.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the robbery, where one of the two attackers held a knife to her throat.
The attackers got away with the £180 in her wallet after grabbing and threatening the woman with the knife as she made her way home.
Police believe this attack is linked to a further two robberies on students in Nelson.
An 18-year-old had his mobile phone stolen on his way to Nelson and Colne College after being approached by a man at the junction of Barrowford Road and Colne.
The robber threatened the student before taking his LG Chocolate mobile phone on Monday at 8.50am.
The same day a 16-year-old student had £10 taken from him in Whitewalls Drive, Nelson, on his way back from college at 3.50pm.
The robber in both attacks is described as being a white man aged 18-20 of slim build, 6ft tall, with a spotty complexion, wearing a dark hooded top and tracksuit bottoms.
